Standard repair including quality replacement display and full electrolytic capacitor recap.
This covers the vast majority of repairs — around 9 in 10 Evo 1-3 units I’ve seen need both the capacitors and the display replaced.
This service is perfect if your Evo 1-3 display has gone very dim or completely blank, or you have very visible red horizontal lines across your VFD display.
I’ve also seen the LCD displays in the Evo 4-6 fail too - the screen can bubble as the surface delaminates which is a sign the panel needs replacing.

If your unit is caught early enough and the display is still functional, a capacitor recap alone may be sufficient.
I assess every unit on arrival and will charge the lower rate if no display replacement is needed — no surprises.
To set expectations: around 9 in 10 units we assess require a display replacement in addition to the capacitor recap.
